This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of psp

Supplies needed:

PSP 11 (any version will work)

Tube/Closeup tube of choice: I'm using the wonderful artwork of Keith Garvey, you can purchase his awesome tubes at: mypsptubes.com

Scrapkit: Secret Valentine by Tamie : addictivepleasures.blogspot.com

Template: 8 (Collab) by Yvette & Tamie: addictivetemplates.blogspot.com

Ok lets get started...

Open the template in psp and delete the background and copyright layers,

and I also deleted the long rectangle template layer.

Go to the large center circle template layer and click on circle with magic wand, go to Selections---Float, Defloat, add a New Raster Layer and go to paint palette, I pulled a deep pink color from the scrapkit using the dropper tool for the foreground color and white for the background color and go to the Gradient palette and both colors will be blended, and flood fill the circle template layer, go to Selections--->Select None, delete the template layer, Selections---Float, Defloat....

Now open Closeup tube and resize, use Xero Radiance on tube, go to Layers--->New Mask Layer, and make sure the setting is Source Luminance and the Invert Mask Data box is checked, Copy Merge tube, now you can paste the tube as a new layer to the center circle template layer, position to your liking, Selections--->Invert, hit delete on your keyboard, Selections None, now go to your blending palette and use setting to your liking but I used Luminance, Merge Down tube to circle template. Do the same to the 2 heart templates within the circle but grayscale your tube for the largest heart and when flood-filling use black instead of pink.

Now you can glitter the edges of the center circle template...Selections--->Float,Defloat, Selections---> Select Selection Borders settings Both Sides make sure Anti-Alias box is checked, Border Width 1, Layers--->Add a New Raster Layer, use paint bucket to flood fill with color of choice to compliment image, Selections None, Merge Down.

Now add Xero Radiance again to the top center circle template with tube, settings of choice.

Use the same instructions above for both the side heart templates as well.

Now go to the rectangle template layer and click on it with your magic wand and go to Selections--->Float, Defloat, paste a paper of choice from scrapkit, go to Selections--->Invert, hit delete on your keyboard, Selections--->Select None. You can glitter the edges of the rectangle as I have using the same instructions above, add drop shadow.

Paste your tube as a new layer, make sure it is behind the long thin bottom rectangle, crop the bottom half of tube so that the legs dont stick out from underneath, add drop shadow.

Now we can embellish with elements...open the vine from scrapkit and resize, paste as a new layer and position to the left rectangle and mirror and flip, add drop shadow.

Open the flower from scrapkit and resize very small and paste as a new layer and position over the vines in various places, duplicate as many times as needed, add drop shadow.

Open the dove from scrapkit and paste as a new layer and position to the very right top next to the tube, add drop shadow.

Add copyright , add font , crop & resize if desired, Merge All.
